Story: The movie story revolves around a priest who wants to make a change in the world.
Movie Review:
The movie starts with 51 years old retired military general Ethan Hawke as Ernst Toller who now turned into a Pastor. Ernst had a wife and one son, but sadly his son died in a military fight. Because Ernst is forced his son to join the army so Ernst's wife is broken the relationship with him. Now one lady Amanda Seyfried as Mary Mensana (a pregnant lady) meets Pastor and tells her husband is not want she should give birth to a child. Then Ernst meets Mary's husband Philip Ettinger as Michael Mensana. Michael is very much serious about pollution matters. So Michael thinks the world will going to end by 2050 so after birth his baby has to face problems. So he believes not giving birth is the solution. Ernst tries to convince Michael, but sadly he did not convince. Then later Michael kills himself. Now Ernst knows he is having cancer, then because he was connected with Michael so he starts researching about pollution. Then Ernst also starts thinking the world needs to change and we need to stop hurting the earth. I love that movie is talking about the subject which everyone is ignoring or wants to ignore. The movie gives a really good massage. At some point movie also question the beliefs of god. Ethan Hawke did great acting in the movie. I think Ethan never stop experimenting with his movies. Ethan doing this type of small budget movie is a little strange but he did good work. I think the movie was really good but the movie was not entertaining and the slow going of the movie make it boring. Overall I think the movie is one time watchable and the movie will surely inspire you.
Positive points of the movie:
The movie is talking on the subject like global warming which everyone is ignoring. Great acting is done by all actors.
Negative points of the movie:
The movie runs in a slow phase which feels boring and not entertaining.
