Story: The movie story revolves around a dog who becomes an idol.
Movie Review:
The movie starts with an old lady who came to one place with her granddaughter. Now they are finding one statue, then the old lady tells a story about Balto. Balto is the street dog, who is half dog and half wolf. Because of this, he is hated by humans and dogs. Balto has a dream to participate in the dog race. But he never got a chance. Balto has a friend snow goose named Boris and two polar bears, Muk and Luk. Now one day a small girl named Rosy, contract diphtheria but the doctor not has enough medicines to save her. Then villagers decide to bring medicines from other places and for that, they select some dogs for transportation of medicines. Balto wanted to become part of this but he does not get a chance. Then selected dogs go to get the medicines but due to heavy snow, they lost the way. Then Balto decides to bring them back to help Rosy. Then the adventure begins.
The movie promoted has based on a true story but talking animals make it an imaginary story. I heard that the real incident which happened is different and so many changes are done in the story. In the movie, Balto is only showed as a hero but as per sources, there was another hero Togo who ran more miles to help humans. So I wish they also gave credit to Tago. The animation is good and laughable comedy is added in some places. The movie shows a good adventure of the rice of a dog from hatred to most loving. Overall I believe a watchable movie with good animation and an interesting story line will not disappoint you.
