Story: The story revolves around a missing children's.
Movie Review:
The series starts with a newborn baby gone missing from the hospital. Now, people framed this incident as the mother killed her baby then the mother gets the punishment of death by electric chair. Now by this case, Daniel Brühl as Laszlo Kreizler, an alienist (or psychiatrist), Luke Evans as John Schuyler Moore (New York Times cartoonist and illustrator) and Dakota Fanning as Sara Howard (detective) are also connected. But they not able to help this lady. Now three of them try to unfold the truth behind the missing baby case. But after this, some more babies went missing. Then they found dead bodies of babies. Now slowly three of them unfold all the secrets. The movie has a very unique and thrilling story. The series name is The Alienist but I found the series give more attention to detective Sara Howard. All actors did good work in the whole series. The Series has some adult and romantic scenes. In some places, like babies, death bodies make uncomfortable to watch. The series has an interesting mystery story like Sherlock Holmes's type of story. After 4 episodes of the series you will understand who is the killer, I really don't like this part. Because now there is no suspense remained the next 4 episodes revolve around chasing and catching the killer. Overall I think if you are a fan of mystery-thriller movies then you must watch this series.
Positive points of the movie:
Good mystery story and good acting by all actors.
Negative points of the movie:
After 4 episodes you will understand who is the killer then no more suspense remains. Now series revolves around chasing and catching the killer.
